Wednesday, January 25th, 2006Everything I can think of to write in here honestly (as opposed to basically using this for my newspaper clippings), I can imagine being hurtful to one of the very few people who read it, all of whom I know, and know each other. Oh well, here’s one anyway: I still don’t know what I want to do with my life or what I’m going to do with myself, but I’m glad at least there are things that I can do. If you are reading this, assume that I am not saying that you specifically have very few skills and imagine no one else trying to imagine who I’m talking about here, because it is NOT you or an actual person at all. I think thatat some point I realized that I was crippled by doubt which led me to, guess what, doubt my ability to carry on office-style interpersonal relationships or even carry on, period on a day to day basis on that surface level (this is such a farce: if anyone ever overheard my deepest conversations, oh god (not that my THOUGHTs aren’t deep, haha (actually what I’m talking about is simply the ability to say: “I have massive doubts about the nature of the universe” and not have that seen as either crazy or an exposed weakness (look i’m using parenthetical asides to re-contradict my supposed self-aware shallowness and fein depth)))) I think it goes back to that question that I haven’t been asked in the last 4 years: “what are you going to do with your life?” Seriously has anyone been asked or asked it themselves lately? No. Because this is your life. What the fuck are you going to do about it?
