Plexifilm. I’ve seen Slow Century, a film about Pavement, Friends Forever, a film about, well, Friends Forever, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, a film about Wilco and now Hell House, a freaky look into American Christian fundamentalist ignorance and fear mongering and they are all excellent. I have plans to see pretty much everything else Plexifilm is putting out including the early 80’s graf documentary Style Wars, the Sun Ra documentary Space is the Place, Ciao! Manhattan, Decasia, the Maysles’ 5 Films about Christo & Jean Claude.

I just ordered VAS: An Opera in Flatland from Winterhouse Editions. I saw Stephen Farrell, the book designer speak here and his work is great. Here are some sample pages.
Other books I want:
The Russian Avant Garde Book 1910-1934
Tibor Kalman, Perverse Optimist
Mies in America
Interaction of Color
Marks of Excellence
Books are expensive.
